Students in this course with have guided instruction from the American Red Cross Babysitting Curriculum and will be mentored by a professional caregiver. Discussions and questions with be answered regarding the topics of at home safety, taking appropriate initiatives, supporting child development, play engagements, advocate a healthy lifestyle, maintaining communication, explaining boundaries, gaining social skills with confidence, light housekeeping tips, mock phone calls and scenarios.

This babysitting course is taught by a professional nanny and educator. Brooke was employed at the Breakers Hotel Palm Beach as a Recreation Specialist and Resort Babysitter. She worked there throughout high school and college leading to create positive relationships with different families in and out of Florida. The time she spent with those families will forever be appreciated.
